Raging Dragon Radio – is looking for quality DJ’s to become apart of our air staff. Do you have an outgoing personality, a personal style with fresh sound keyed to the audience? Then Raging Dragon Radio WANTS YOU to join our team and experience a rewarding past time. We appreciate your interest in Raging Dragon Radio.

To become a DJ for Raging Dragon Radio, you must meet all of the following criteria

Computer Requirements

Have a computer, microphone, software, and media for broadcasting.

Internet DJ Criteria

1. Ability to speak English clearly, unless you are approved to do a program targeted to a specfici language.

2. Must have an aggressive and creative outgoing personality

3. Must be able to multi-task yet keep your composure and interact with listeners

4. Agree to the Raging Dragon Radio Terms and Conditions

5. Understand your time here is on a volunteer basis

6. Availability to commit to a specific shift – 4 hour slots preferred, minimum of 2 hours required

Apply for a DJ Position

To apply for a DJ position, please submit an email with the following information listed below

Record an MP3 with The following to be evaluated:
1. sound quality and vocal talent (primary – Talk a bit about something you like)
2. DJ skills (broadest scope of talent, introduce a song set)
3. promotion ability (advertise website and features)
4. on-air reading ability (ie. read a band bio)

2. Write a bit about yourself; include the type of show and a preferred schedule (upon availability) you want to maintain at Raging Dragon Radio.

3. List 3 choices of a preferred schedule. Visit http://ragingdragon.org/radio-schedule/ for availabilities

5. Email your submission to iwanttodj@ragingdragon.org with the subject line as DJ Application with your name

Once your submission has been reviewed, you will be contacted by one of our Raging Dragon Radio staff with a response.  All submissions will be replied to. Your submission materials will not be returned.

Please note: We want Live DJ's and Acts who are going to at the least are going to talk on the air at least four times per hour.  Keep the audience entertained.  We dont need “jukeboxers”  who just play music.
